About Me

Hi, I’m Elyssa!

Currently, I am a senior at Auburn University and will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and minor in marketing. Originally from Monroe Township, New Jersey, I decided to attend Auburn to step outside of my comfort zone and discover my passions.

I am an aspiring PR manager, marketer and event planner. Understanding the importance of growth, learning and networking is something I take with me everywhere I go. I could not be more excited to continue building my professional skill set and network as I graduate college.

Most recently, I was a public relations and marketing intern for TRINDGROUP, a PR and marketing firm in Auburn, AL. During my time as an intern, I practiced my writing skills by writing blog and articles, pitches and content for specialized projects. I also curated social media content and graphics while learning how to pull Google Analytics 4. During this internship I worked on assignments for over seven B2B clients and collaborated daily with my superiors.

In the spring of 2023, I worked remotely as a public relations intern for JMGPR, a public relations firm in New York City. In this role, I worked for multiple B2B clients, managed multiple social media page, created social content in the form of static posts, stories and short-form videos, pitched client news and more.

Additionally, I have been a part of the Bumble student ambassador program as a campus event manager since September 2022. I planned one event per month of each semester, managed budgets and engaged in digital and traditional marketing strategies.

I also have leadership experience in multiple on-campus organizations. I was a social media manager and account manager for The Oaks Agency, Auburn University’s student-run PR firm and the Assistant Director of Marketing for a committee in Auburn’s University Program Council.

I want the work I do to make a positive impact in the world and for the people around me.

Fun Facts:

  • I studied abroad in Seville, Spain in June 2023 with Auburn University’s Public Relations Program
  • I was a competitive dancer for most of my life. For the past two years, I have competed with my sorority in a charity dance competition, benefitting Habitat for Humanity.
  • I love nature and spending time outdoors.
  • I am a huge Auburn fan. War Eagle!
